2026's Best Games

The official Grind Survivors keyart as the game launches on Xbox, PlayStation, PC
Grind Survivors – can you handle the heat?

When the world ends, it won’t go quietly. Grind Survivors has launched on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam), bringing a frantic roguelite action experience that drops players into a demon-infested Earth where survival is earned one brutal battle at a time.

Developed by Pushka Studios and published by Assemble Entertainment, Grind Survivors blends the chaos of bullet-hell combat with the addictive progression of roguelite and looter-shooter systems.

Every run throws players into escalating waves of hellspawn, challenging them to dodge, fight and evolve their build while the apocalypse rages around them.

In this world, demons aren’t just enemies, they’re potential loot drops.

A Demon-Hunting Last Stand

Set on a post-apocalyptic Earth consumed by demonic corruption, Grind Survivors places players in the boots of a towering demon hunter tasked with holding the line against endless waves of hellspawn.

Each run becomes a fight for survival as enemies flood the screen in chaotic swarms. Success depends on quick reflexes, smart positioning and the ability to build powerful combinations of upgrades before the battlefield becomes overwhelming.

The longer you survive, the more intense things become – and the more dangerous the enemies get. You know the drill, no doubt having dropped tens and dozens of hours into the likes of Vampire Survivors over recent months.

Loot, Upgrade And Break The Game

Combat in Grind Survivors revolves around a satisfying loot-driven progression system.

Every enemy defeated has the chance to drop new weapons with procedurally generated stats, perks and origins. Some guns might excel at long-range precision, while others reward aggressive close-quarters combat.

Players can then take their gear to The Forge, where weapons can be upgraded, fused or rerolled for better stats. It’s a risk-and-reward system where experimentation can lead to incredibly powerful builds… or disastrous failures.

With the right combination of perks and upgrades, it’s possible to create truly devastating weapon setups capable of mowing down entire demon hordes.

Dynamic Builds And Endless Runs

One of the core pillars of Grind Survivors is its flexible build system.

Throughout each run, players stack upgrades and unlock synergies that drastically alter how their character plays. These combinations create a different experience every time you start a new attempt.

And if you’re looking for a real challenge, the game’s Endless Mode pushes your build to its limits with infinitely scaling waves of enemies.

Eventually, the demons will overwhelm you – but the goal is to last just a little longer each time.

Optional Supporter Packs

Alongside the main release, two additional DLC packs are available for £4.19 each.

The Grind Survivors Supporter Pack includes exclusive cosmetic items such as armor skins, weapon skins and a unique menu theme while helping support the development team.

Meanwhile, the Grind Survivors Ukraine Supporter Pack offers similar cosmetic rewards while donating proceeds to the Come Back Alive charitable foundation, supporting efforts in Ukraine.

Time To Face The Horde

Now available on Xbox Series X|S (via the Xbox Store), PlayStation 5 and PC, Grind Survivors delivers a fast-paced roguelite shooter where every run becomes a desperate fight against an endless demonic invasion.

With randomised weapons, powerful build combinations and escalating bullet-hell chaos, the battlefield never stays quiet for long. Just remember: every demon you defeat might be hiding your next favourite weapon. And every run is another chance to survive the apocalypse.
