It’s coming up to a year since PQube first announced their futuristic Fallen Knight tale for Xbox, PlayStation and PC, but finally, after a couple of delays, it’s time to get involved.
Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PC, Fallen Knight places you into the role of Lancelot the 49th; the descendant of King Arthur’s Lancelot. As you would expect to hear, this is a tale set in the future as you go up against a number of enemies all with a dark past of their own.
Sold as a Dark Souls-esque level of challenge, you can be sure that Fallen Knight will provide a tricky, yet rewarding fight, one where every swipe of a sword, every dodge of a body and every counter-attack has the chance to build your skills. You’ll need those skills too as Fallen Knight comes with a slew of ending types, each of which is determined by your actions. You see, whilst killing is certainly doable, taking mercy and honouring the Round Table can also be a route to cover.
A simple look at the screens will show that Fallen Knight is a nostalgic dream, one that will appeal to not just gamers of a time gone by, but those who have found themselves falling into the scene in more recent times. Whoever you are though and whatever route you take with Fallen Knight, it’ll be the enemies and colossal bosses which stand in your way. The challenge here is real – very real.
In summary, the key features of Fallen Knight will include:
- Nostalgia Fuelled Platforming
- Punishing Boss Battles
- Multiple Game Endings Based On Gameplay
- Unique Parry & Disarm System
- Explore 6 Unique & Diverse Levels
- Electrifying, Arcade-Style Soundtrack
You can grab access to what Fallen Knight has to offer by heading to the digital store of your choosing – the Xbox Store will sort those out on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S for £9.99. You should also be finding the game present on PS4 and PC via Steam too.
