Far Cry 5 Season Pass brings Far Cry 3 Classic Edition and more!

-

The worldwide release of Far Cry 5 is fast approaching and today Ubisoft have detailed that all-important Season Pass for the game, whilst delivering details on the arrival of a Classic Edition of Far Cry 3!

Kicking things off and to accompany the launch of Far Cry 5 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC come March 27th 2018, will be the Season Pass. Available as an individual purchase or as part of the Far Cry 5 Gold Edition, it’ll take you on three uncanny adventures – all of which come with a unique twist:

  • Hours of Darkness: Players will travel back in time to Vietnam to battle against Việt Cá»™ng soldiers
  • Dead Living Zombies: Players will face hordes of zombies in multiple b-movie scenarios
  • Lost on Mars: Players will leave Earth behind to go toe-to-claws with Martian arachnids

Yes, that’s right, Far Cry is getting even crazier than it was before and the addition of zombies and alien arachnids is quite possibly pushing the boundaries as far as they will go. But is that a bad thing? Not at all and we can’t wait to be able to get involved in the madness.

But whilst he Season Pass brings addition content, those deciding to go all-in will also be treated to something else rather special – Far Cry 3 Classic Edition.

Featuring the now iconic Vaas and taking players to the tropical world of Rook Island, Far Cry 5 Season Pass holders will also gain access to Far Cry 3 Classic Edition a whole four weeks prior to it becoming a standalone purchase in the summer. Whether you’re an old fan, or a brand new gamer looking for a stunning adventure, the Classic Edition of Far Cry 3 will surely delight. PC players who purchase the season pass or Far Cry 5 Gold Edition will receive the full version of Far Cry 3.

More details on post-launch support for Far Cry 5, including an overview of the three adventures as well as the return of the map editor will be available at a later date. No matter what they bring though, the opportunity to head to America for the first time in the franchise and navigate the twisted world of Hope County, Montana is hotly anticipated.

Check out the trailers below – just ignore that PS branding 😉
