There’s a bit of Far Cry overload going on at the moment. Not only are all the titles currently in a massive Xbox sale, but the recently announced Far Cry: The Wild Expedition will also be out soon. Alongside all that, the original Far Cry will be available to purchase as a standalone title.
A revamp of the very first Far Cry title, Classic sees you taking the role of Jack Carver, a boat captain who suddenly finds himself being hunted by a team of mercenaries. Featuring realistic foliage, real-time day and night cycles and underwater and airborne vehicles galore, Far Cry Classic sees you going back to the series roots.
And whilst Classic will be a big part of The Wild Expedition, it will also be available from the Xbox Live Arcade as a standalone title; costing £7.99 and out two days before the big compilation package hits home on the 12th Feb.
