Retro Tanks on Xbox One is quite simply sold as bringing fast, fun, and addictive gameplay to console. Following on from the previous Tanky Tanks, if you’re in need of some new tank-filled action, then this is it. Possibly.
Coming from EpiXR Games, Retro Tanks arrives on Xbox One with just a mere £4.99 price tag attached. From there it gives you the chance to partake in some new head-to-head tank fighting, either alone, or both with and against your friends.
Multiple game modes are promised with all of them focused around the need to take control of a little tank and go on the front foot, taking charge of the battle arena and holding steadfast, fighting back against all opponents.
This will see you given the chance to work through a single player campaign which should allow the opportunity to hone your skills, before doing the same with a friend in tow. The real joy of Retro Tanks though looks set to be provided by the VS Mode which caters for up to 4 players.
But the big question is whether or not Retro Tanks on Xbox One actually does stand up and deliver the promises of fast, fun, addictive action. Well, we highly advise you to have a read of our review prior to heading to the Xbox Store and picking up your copy.
