Fearsome dragons, new Delves content and more arrives in free Trove update for Xbox One and PS4

Over three years since its release, the free voxel-MMO Trove is still delivering content updates to its player base. The latest update announced by gamigo has just arrived for everyone on Xbox One and PS4 at no extra cost. It introduces a trio of powerful dragon mounts, flying carpets and some new additions to the procedurally generated cave worlds.

First things first, and there’s no doubt aspiring dragon tamers will want to try to get their hands on the fragments of three newly added, and fearsome, dragons. In order to acquire Amatrix, the Hexed players must fight the creatures residing in Amperia as well as the Neon Underground Delves. Meanwhile, if it’s the other two you’re after – Vaentaera, the Perpetual and A.T.M.O.S. –D-R4C’ – then their fragments are located in the Volcanic biomes and the dark dungeons of Cursed Skylands respectively.

For those, who would rather travel the world on a less dangerous and terrifying ride, there’s always the option of flying carpets, which have been added to the Mount Taming Bench. These can take you over to Dragonfire Peaks, which now gives a chance for a Volcanic Vaults Gateway. On top of that, recipes to create Delve Gateways for specific bosses have also been added to the Delve Workbench.

And finally, while danger already lurks around every corner of the famed Delves cave systems, now you’ve got even more to worry about. That’s because five additional mounts have been added to the menacing bosses residing there. All of this and more is now available for both Xbox One and PS4, so fire it up and see the fresh content awaiting you.

Which of the new dragons are you looking to hunt down first? Feel free to leave a comment below and share your thoughts regarding the latest update for free-to-play MMO Trove.

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
