This weeks charts are in, and whilst the news that FIFA 14 holds on to its Xbox One chart lead was expected, it is somewhat surprising to see Minecraft top the 360 table.
I say surprising, but nothing with Minecraft is surprising. It’s an absolute worldwide beast and from the second it dropped onto the Xbox 360, it’s been tearing up the opposition. For it to jump from 4th spot back up to the top podium step takes some doing but if there were ever a game that could do it, Minecraft is it. And it has!
With FIFA 14 holding its top spot on the Xbox One and still going strong with a 2nd place on the 360 as well, EA Sports are having a bit of a field day, whilst AC IV Black Flag has jumped a few places in the 360 charts relegating GTA V and COD: Ghosts to lower than usual spots. How the hell Aliens: Colonial Marines is still in the Top 10 though is anyones guess.
We already know FIFA 14 leads the way in Xbox One land, and things are pretty static behind it as Battlefield 4, Forza 5, Ghosts and Dead Rising 3 round out the top 5 places. We’re sure to see a change to proceedings in a few weeks time with both Tomb Raider and then Titanfall both expected to sell well and challenge FIFA’s lead.
