Each week EA Sports creates a FIFA Ultimate Team Team of the Week (TOTW) based on players in the real world that are in form for that week. Today, they have announced a special one off team based round the Team of the World Cup. Take a look at the best players from the World Cup who will be available from 16th July at 6pm.
Player Analysis:
GK: Manuel Neuer – Bayern München (Germany) – Germany – Not only is Germanys sweeper keeper a World Cup winner and Golden Glove winner, but he was immense throughout the tournament only conceding 4 goals from the first game vs Portugal to the last, the final against Argentina.
CF: Lionel Messi – FC Barcelona (Spain) – Argentina – Many say he didn’t do enough to earn the right but FIFA’s boy wonder took the Player of the Tournament title after dragging his Argentinian team mates across the line against Iran so it’s no wonder he has made EA’s Team of the Tournament.
