A fresh announcement today from the folks over at Square Enix has cast excitement over an upcoming expansion for Final Fantasy XV.
Starting October 31st, players will be able to jump into Final Fantasy XV with their own created and unique avatars, before taking the battle online with up to three friends in the game’s first and only online multiplayer expansion – “Comrades”.
As a survivor of the Kingsglaive it is up to you to find out more about the disappearance of Noctis after the final events of Chapter 13 within the main game. With royal sigils granting players special powers from the Lucian bloodline, it will be up to you as members of the Kingsglaive to create a balanced team and make strategized plans to take on a variety of new and different quests in both multiplayer and single player form, all of which can help to enhance your character.
A new trailer has also been released featuring an all new track “Choosing Hope” composed by Nobuo Uematsu and sung by popular Japanese singer Emiko Suziki. Those wanting to check out the latest track can do so now by checking out the trailer below.
Final Fantasy XV: Comrades will be available to buy and download on October 31st 2017 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Whilst a price has yet to be announced, the expansion will require a separate purchase of the Final Fantasy XV: Comrades expansion or the Final Fantasy XV Season Pass. Players must also have an active subscription to Xbox Live for Xbox owners or PlayStation Network for PlayStation owners.
