Hold on to your hats, the first gameplay video for Middle-earth: Shadow of War is with us!
Warner Bros have today released the first gameplay trailer for their recently announced open-world action RPG Middle-earth: Shadow of War.
The gameplay walkthrough seen below introduces us to the latest generation of the now iconic Nemesis System as the Nemesis Fortresses are shown. These allow players to utilise different strategies and forge their own personalised Orc army.
It also shows Talion and Celebrimbor, who return as the Bright Lord, leading a fortress assault on the mountain valley of Seregost in order to take it from one of Sauron’s Overlords. To succeed, they will use the power of the New Ring to recruit Followers during enemy encounters—a new mechanic allowing gamers to establish entirely new stories of loyalty, betrayal and revenge.
Set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Middle-earth: Shadow of War continues the original narrative found in Shadow of Mordor. Players will be engrossed in a richer, more personal and expansive world full of variety, millions of decisions, epic heroes and villains, iconic locations, original enemy types, more personalities and a new cast of characters with untold stories.
Middle-earth: Shadow of War will release on Xbox One, Project Scorpio, Windows 10 PC (Windows Store and Steam™), PS4 and PS4 Pro from the 25th August, 2017.
Damn that looks nice, can’t wait to play on my Scorpio! 🙂
Scorpio is going to be Day One for me without a doubt! I also agree that that looks good.
Me too, just hope it’s at least as powerful as they promised it would be and stomps all over everything else. Game looks good too… I need to finish the first one before I get this though!
I just need to somehow get some funds without the wife knowing so I don’t have to hear any shit. I just dropped 5 bills on the Switch lol
Nice one… I picked up a switch too. Zelda is really impressing me so far 🙂
This looks great. I really enjoyed the first one and they look to have moved it on quite a bit.
