First Injustice 2 DLC characters revealed by Warner Bros and DC Entertainment

-

It’s hard to believe but the release of Injustice 2 is just around the corner, and Warner Bros and DC Entertainment have today decided to drop details regarding the first DLC characters.

Due out on Xbox One and PS4 come 19th May 2017, we already know that Injustice 2 will be coming with a huge roster of playable characters, allowing you to get to grips with your favourites from the off. Today though, the announcement and trailer for the first set of downloadable content characters is with us and it’ll be of huge interest to fans of DC and Mortal Kombat.

Arriving in the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of Injustice 2 will be Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero, giving you the chance to battle it out with the most iconic of characters, utilising their unique moves and skill sets in the process. Still in development and available for download after the game launches if you want the very best Injustice 2 experience, then you’ll need to have these guys in your corner.

The Injustice 2 Deluxe Edition will include three playable characters; one Premiere Skin that transforms Supergirl into Power Girl with a new look, voice and dialogue; and exclusive new Gear Shader that enables players to customize the look of their roster with the Gods Shader Pack. You can pre-order it right now for £69.99, and the physical edition includes an exclusive Supergirl steelbook which is only available at GAME.

The Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition meanwhile will include a total of nine playable characters; three Premiere Skins that transform select fighters into alternate characters with new looks, voices and dialogue; and two exclusive new Gear Shaders that enable players to customize the look of their roster with alternate colour themes. This one comes in at a cool £89.99, but the physical edition will include an exclusive Batman steelbook – that alone may just be worth the asking price!

If you’re tempted by either option, or just want a better look at the new DLC characters, then make sure you hit up the trailer below.
