It’s been a long time coming, but that time is finally here – a successor to the Xbox 360’s FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage, and the first in the line of destruction derby-esque racers to arrive on Xbox One, FlatOut 4: Total Insanity is now available.
Brought to you from the same creative genius’ behind WRC 5 and WRC 6, FlatOut 4 looks set to bring back all the best features from previous games in the series, as well as some all new features ready for the first step into the current generation of consoles. Stunt Mode is one of the most impressive returning features with six new stunt scenarios for both veterans and newcomers alike to sink their teeth into, as well as the return of six more re-imagined classics and a host of destruction derby events. Of course, for its latest arrival there will also be 8-player online racing for the ultimate in destructive and competitive racing.
Racing fans looking to get on in on some destructive racing action can do so now with FlatOut 4 available to download now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for the price of £44.99 (with a small discount currently bringing that price down for Xbox Live Gold members). With no other signs of any other destructive racer on the horizon any time soon, you could probably do much worse than head on over to the Xbox Games Store.
