It’s safe to say that Focus Entertainment enjoyed a fruitful Game Awards 2022, with an incredible seven nominations for their games, five of which were attributed to A Plague Tale: Requiem. In collaboration with Don’t Nod, 2023 will see the release of a brand-new action RPG, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.
Penned for a release in late-2023, Banishers has you play out a captivating and emotional narrative as two ghost hunters and lovers, who can shape out the lives of both the living and the dead. It’s a lot of responsibility placed upon their shoulders, and you as the player will have to navigate this, as well as the love between the duo, and all the struggles of living in 1695 North America.
In a gameplay sense, players will be combining the spiritual powers of Antea, with the packed arsenal of Red to dispose of the phantoms traumatising those living, giving rise to an exciting and exhilarating action RPG.
