Bridge Constructor Studio
Bridge Constructor Studio – out now!

The beloved, and often chaotically destructive, world of bridge engineering has returned with its most creative and accessible entry yet in Bridge Constructor Studio.

Bridge Constructor Studio, the latest installment in the best-selling series, has officially launched on Steam, the Epic Games Store, GOG, iOS, Google Play, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Following its original launch on Meta Quest late last year, this new title from developer ClockStone and publisher Headup is now ready for a massive new audience.

Your Blueprint for Fun (and Failure)

Combining the best elements of previous Bridge Constructor games with a modern, charming visual style and an incredibly intuitive building system, this is the ultimate playground for seasoned builders and newcomers alike.

In Bridge Constructor Studio, you put your engineering skills to the test as you design your own constructions in animated 3D mini-dioramas. Once your masterpiece is complete, you start the simulation to watch your creation face the ultimate stability challenge. Will it hold firm, or will it collapse into a glorious heap of wood and steel?

A Toolbox Full of Possibilities

This new entry is all about creative freedom. With no budget or material restrictions in the main mode, you can freely experiment and design without limits.

You’ll build across five beautiful biomes, from skyscraper-filled cities to snowy canyons and lush green valleys, using multiple construction materials like wood, steel, cables, and concrete pillars.

70 Unique Challenges

The game features 70 challenging puzzles, each a fresh and varied test of your construction expertise. You’ll need to account for seven different vehicles, each with its own unique physics and demands.

You might be creating sturdy steel bridges for heavy timber transporters, or constructing wild ramps and loops for daring monster truck stunts. A three-wheeler pizza delivery van, a parcel service truck, and a city bus also join the fun! For those who want an extra challenge, you can earn a special reward by keeping your construction costs within a set budget while ensuring your bridge holds up under pressure.

From Aperture Science to the Zombie Apocalypse

The Bridge Constructor series has a fantastic and varied history on Xbox. We absolutely loved our time with Bridge Constructor Portal, where we said, “Puzzle games need ‘eureka!’ moments and Bridge Constructor Portal has those in abundance… feel pretty darn smart in the process.“

We also faced the walker horde in the surprisingly effective Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead, which we noted was a good choice “if you enjoyed the previous games and don’t mind tackling hellish problems.”

Bridge Constructor Studio now takes the series back to its pure engineering roots, but with all the lessons learned from these ambitious crossovers. Stay tuned for our full review thoughts.

Sharing is Caring: A Family-Friendly Feature

In a great move for households with multiple budding engineers, Bridge Constructor Studio allows you to create up to five player profiles, each with its own separate campaign progress. This means you can let your friends and family experience the game without any risk of them wrecking your own carefully crafted masterpieces.

Key Features

  • Limitless Creativity: With no budget or material restrictions, you can freely experiment and design without limits in a creative sandbox.
  • 70 Challenging Puzzles: Test your construction expertise with dozens of unique bridge-building puzzles across five varied biomes.
  • Seven Different Vehicles: Build for everything from a pizza delivery van to a heavy timber transporter and a stunt-loving monster truck.

The drawing board is empty and a chasm is waiting to be crossed. If you’re ready to put your engineering skills to the test in the most creative and accessible Bridge Constructor game yet, you can download it right now on the Xbox Store (£9.99) and other platforms.

The question is, what will you build?
