Exciting times ahead for petrolheads as Xbox and Universal Partnerships & Licensing have teamed up to bring Xbox One and 360 owners Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, and for a limited time, it’ll be free to download.
A completely stand alone pack (you won’t need Forza Horizon 2 to play), Fast & Furious will put you behind the wheel of more than 11 of the most iconic motor vehicles from the ‘Fast & Furious’ films, inclusing some from the upcoming ‘Furious 7’. It promises to be an original adventure filled with the most high speed action and pulse-pounding gameplay as racers will get ‘recruited’ by Fast & Furious expert mechanic Tej Parker, voiced by Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, to source cars for the Fast & Furious crew’s next big mission.
You’ll get to run through a number of thrilling car challenges in the south of France, unlocking new cars as you go.
“Forza is synonymous with racing and fun, so it’s only natural for us to work with one of the most celebrated action franchises in the world,” said Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox. “This is a great way to bring Forza players into the world of ‘Fast & Furious,’ and in Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious, every fan will get a chance to go wheels-first into the exciting action of the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise.”
The best thing of all however is that the Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious expansion will be available for absolutely nothing between March 27th and April 10th, after which it’ll cost $10 (think approx £7.99) to download. If however you grab it during the free period, you’ll have continued free access forever more!
