It is the final week of the Forza Horizon Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges Hidden Horizons series already (Series 38 – Spring), and I just don’t know where the time goes. Anyway, let’s go and see what the final week has in store for us, shall we? Hopefully some good events and the last we’ll see of that Detective Tank!
Whatever, I’ll look to bring together everything you need in order to complete the challenges in Series 38, with cars, tunes, fun, laughter and tears. Maybe just cars and tunes…

Part 1: Weekly Car Challenge – Series 1
One of the best looking cars ever designed, the 1961 Jaguar E-Type was a revelation when it launched, and is still incredibly sought after today.
Designed by Malcolm Sayer, an aerodynamicist (who knew that was a job?) this week we get to drive this very pretty car.
Should you not have one already, go and buy it from the Autoshow – they will exchange it for 150,000 of your credits.
Chapter 1 – Eyecatcher
Get in your new car, take it for a spin. Step one complete.
Chapter 2 – Car Admiration
Take a photo of the car now. Should be easy enough!
Chapter 3 – Best in Show
We have to win a Road Race now. In stock trim, the car is a bit drift-tastic, so I’ve made a C Class tune to make this easy. Share code is : 749596800.
Chapter 4 – Faster & Faster
As the car could famously do 150 mph when it was launched, we now have to drive over 100 mph for one minute. Hit the highway!
Complete these tasks and we will be five points closer to the seasonal prizes that are up for grabs with Forza Horizon 5’s Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges for Series 38.
Part 2: Weekly Challenges, Championships and PR Stunts
With the weekly challenge done and dusted, let’s dive into the rest of the mayhem on offer.
The Trial, Eventlabs, a couple of PR Stunts, lots of races – that’s what you are getting with Series 38 Spring. Very much the same as last week.
The Trial – Fine Driving
We’re on a huge roll and once more I found a team that has actually raced and not played dodgems – I never thought I’d see the day!
This week the theme is Cars from France, with a tuning limit of B Class 700. It looks to be on road, so a Renault Clio is called for – share code for mine is : 262870774.
This is the 2013 EDC model for the avoidance of doubt.
Let’s hope the racing gods smile down on us this week, as we attempt to win a Lancia Stratos.
Eventlab 1 – PKRW9300 Presents Green Plains Motor Raceway
S1 Class 900 Track Toy here, and the Porsche 911 GT2 RS from 2012 is let out to play. Share code is : 129256081.
A long, fast course that is fun to drive. Who doesn’t love a banked corner?
A Super Wheelspin is the prize. Again.
Eventlab 1 – PETROLHEAD55823 Presents Slice N Dice Course
We need a C Class Hot Hatch for this event, so as always it is a stock Civic Type R from 2007 that I chose.
A good track surrounded by fruit and veg for some reason – I’m sure I saw an aubergine, that I thought was a symbol for something else?
We can win yet another Super Wheelspin.
PR Stunt 1 -Speed Trap – Drag Strip
This week, all the PR stunts need the same car, an S1 Class 900 Ferrari. I chose an 812 Superfast and the share code is :261040765.
Hit over 200 mph through the trap to come out on top. Do so and you’ll find a Super Wheelspin heading your way in return. Approaching from the west is easier.
PR Stunt 2 – Speed Zone – Atlantes de Tula
Average speed of over 150 required here, so the same Superfast should see you right. It is super fast, after all!
This one is tough, but approaching from the east gives the best chance.
Another Super Wheelspin awaits.
Seasonal Championship 1 – Groove it or Lose it
B Class car from the 70’s to compete here, and so I chose a Corvette ZR-1 from 1970. Share name is “ZR1” with my GT, Red620Ti. Can anyone tell me why not all my tunes show up in the list? It’s flipping annoying!
For winning, it is a Dodge Charger we can take home.
Seasonal Championship 2 – Nova Flair
Unlimited Off Road and A Class 800 mean only one thing – The Jeep Trailcat. Share code for mine is : 118411445.
For winning out, we can take home a Hoonigan Nova.
Seasonal Championship 3 – Fit for Purpose
We need a B Class 700 UTV or Buggy for this set of races, and so it is the VW Desert Dingo that gets the nod. Share code is : 335106110.
We will win a #2069 Bronco when we inevitably triumph.
Part 3: Other Challenges
A good mix of things to try this week, with a photo, a treasure hunt, some Hide and Seek, an Eliminator and Playground Games. Let’s see what we need to do!
Photo Challenge – #FOLLOWINGTRACKS
Take a photo of a statue this week, no car needed… Again!
We have to find and photograph the Detective Tank Palacio Azul del Oceano. He’s tucked away, so check the photo and map to find him.
Enjoy my artistic effort up at the top of this piece. The location you need to be in is below.
The reward? A new emote “So Cute”.

Treasure Hunt – Past The Unlimited
The clue reads “ Capture a photo of this historic landmark, off the road is where you need to go!”.
I’m going to say we need an Unlimited Offroad car, and we need to snap a pic of it at Teotihuacan. I took a photo of the main pyramid at the end of the drag strip to complete it.
The chest contains 100 FP, and the location is shown below.

The Eliminator – Battle Royale
Survive into the top 30 of the players to win out. You do you!
We will get a new Forzalink phrase “It’s Morbin’ Time!”. Who knows?
Hide and Seek
As last week, it’s time to play the much hyped new game mode, Hide & Seek. No pointers here, mainly because it is super simple. It is a lot easier to be a Hider than a Seeker…
Keep your eyes peeled for new achievements tied to this mode coming soon, too!
Take home a Super Wheelspin, to add to the collection.
Seasonal Playground Games – Flying the Flag
A bit of a game to play, Capture the Flag to be precise, in an S1 Class 900 Anything Goes car!
Being largely offroad, the Hoonigan Escort 1800 is the car, share code for mine is : 264985022.
We can take away a Jeep Trailcat win or lose, so it’s worth a go.
Part 4: Hot Wheels Events
If you have the Hot Wheels expansion and are an Elite Level player, then you get to enjoy a couple of extra events.
Seasonal PR Stunt – Danger Sign – Forest Leap
The vehicles for the PR Stunts in the next two sections are the same – an A Class 800 Nissan. I went with a 1993 240SX SE, share code : 299598631.
Jump over 315 m to win out. Hitting the ramp at over 160 mph cleared it easily.
A Super Wheelspin is your reward.
Seasonal Championship – Watch Out For Hazards!
For this event, a Ford or Hoonigan vehicle is required, and as always, the Cossie V2 gets the nod. Share code : 140648350.
Completing the championship will get us a Pontiac GTo from 1965.
Part 5: Rally Adventure Events
The Rally Adventure expansion brings even more events to the roster and provided you are already a Horizon Badlands champion, you’ll get access to the following couple of events…
Seasonal PR Stunt – Speed Trap – La Cantera
Same car rules. Different car! I used the 2003 Fairlady Z Forza Edition in stock trim to get this done, as it is offroad.
Hit the trap at over 105 mph to win out. Being on dirt, maintaining momentum is vital. Again!
The prize is another Super Wheelspin. Sigh.
Seasonal Championship – Straight and Narrows
We need a Lancia tuned to B Class 700 – so it is the Stratos I chose, share named “Stratos B” with my GT, Red620Ti.
The reward for racing? An Alfa Romeo GTA.
The rewards for Series 38 and Spring in Forza Horizon 5
With Series 38 concluding, you should be on the way to grabbing some new cars – and for Series 38 that means the Nissan Tsuru for 80 points and a Nissan Safari for 160 points.
Even more Rivals circuits have now been added with Series 38 – and we are back to only two this week – Plaza Circuit and Lookout Circuit. The prize total stays the same though, 4 points for making sure you turn in a clean lap.
Grab enough points and Series 38 Spring also sees you given access to the exclusive Volvo C30 Polestar for 20 points. Additionally, for 40 points we can get the Abarth 696, a hard to find car.
Next week is the dawning of Series 39, entitled “Back to the 90’s”. Who knows what this will bring, but whatever it is, I’ll be here to help. See you then.
To enjoy these events in the Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges, you’ll need a copy of Forza Horizon 5. It’s available on Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and on the cloud via mobile. The Xbox Store will sort you out with a download.
Let us know in the comments if I have helped, hindered or missed the mark with these tunes.
