From Tiny Fireballs To Towering Destruction
Every hero has to start somewhere. In The Legend of Fireball, that means standing in a modest training room, hurling small fireballs at everyday household objects. It won’t stay that way for long.
As your power grows, so do your targets. Before long you’ll be smashing through computers, motorcycles, cars and eventually entire buildings, constantly upgrading your abilities as each destroyed object fuels your next improvement.
Of course, progress isn’t just about throwing bigger fireballs. You’ll steadily improve everything from Fireball Power and Stamina to recovery speed, while collecting new costumes, relics and pets that unlock additional bonuses. Timed challenge stages also shake things up, asking you to destroy enough targets before the clock runs out to unlock new areas and rewards.
Optional Editions Add Plenty Of Extras
While the Standard Edition costs absolutely nothing and is free to download, players who enjoy the core experience can jump into one of two upgraded editions.
The Hot Edition (ÂŁ6.69) includes:
- The full free base game
- Permanent Auto Fire DLC
- 500 Gems to spend on upgrades and unlocks
Meanwhile, the Deluxe Edition (ÂŁ16.74) expands on that package with even more content, adding:
- Everything included in the Hot Edition
- 1,000 additional Gems
- Griffith DLC, introducing a powerful Light Family Alpha Pet that boosts stamina recovery
- Rath DLC, featuring a Dark Family Alpha Pet focused on increasing Fireball Power
Together, those extras are aimed squarely at players planning to spend plenty of time climbing through the game’s upgrade systems.
Worth Downloading?
Free-to-play games live or die by that all-important first impression, and The Legend of Fireball certainly makes an interesting one. There’s something undeniably satisfying about starting by destroying household appliances before gradually working your way up to levelling entire buildings.
With no upfront cost for the Standard Edition, there’s very little stopping curious players from seeing whether its progression loop clicks. If it does, the optional upgrade packs are waiting to help accelerate the journey.
The Legend of Fireball is available now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, with the Standard Edition free to download, alongside the Hot Edition (ÂŁ6.69) and Deluxe Edition (ÂŁ16.74) for players looking to unlock additional content from day one. For ÂŁ9.99 there is even the The Legend Of Fireball & Bag Fight: Starter Bundle, combining this game with the previously released Bag Fight.Â
