For many, the free games being gifted to all Xbox 360 and Xbox One players over the last few months have failed to hit the spot. With levels of enthusiasm low through what is typical a quiet time in gaming, can the free titles being given away through the Xbox Games With Gold scheme for August 2018 fare well? They’ve now been announced and it’s looking like a fairly decent month ahead.
With the freebies of Assault Android Cactus, Splinter Cell Conviction and Death Squared very nearly behind us, Xbox One and Xbox 360 players will soon be able to look forward to downloading the following titles for free…
- Forza Horizon 2: 10th Anniversary Edition – Xbox One – 1st-31st August 2018
- For Honor – Xbox One – 16th August-15th September 2018
- Dead Space 3 – Xbox 360 – 1st-15th August 2018
- Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two – Xbox 360 – 16th-31st August 2018
As is always the case you’ll need to have a valid Xbox Live Gold membership in place should you be looking to download these games for free, but should you be sorted in that department, then you are pretty much sorted. We’ll be sure to let you know when the time comes for you to get your downloads in.
