It may be in its infancy but 2019 has already been a pretty damn good one for Xbox gamers with a number of new experiences already having wowed us. But what’s better than a new game? A free game – and that is where the Xbox Games With Gold scheme comes into play, with the free Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles given away in February 2019 now confirmed. But what are they?
Well, after a month of seeing great games like WRC 6, Celeste, Far Cry 2 and one of the more different Lara Croft adventures with Guardian of Light, being given away, it’s time for the free Xbox Games With Gold titles for February 2019 to come to the fore. And what a selection of games we have, with all of the following going free throughout February 2019 and, in the case of one of them, beyond…
- Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon – Xbox One – 1st-28th February 2019
- Super Bomberman R – Xbox One – 16th February – 15th March 2019
- Assassin’s Creed Rogue – Xbox 360 – 1st-15th February 2019
- Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy  – Xbox – 16th-28th February 2019
In order to enjoy the freebies on offer you just need to have an Xbox Live Gold subscription in place, before heading on over to the Xbox Store when the time comes in order to get your downloads in. We’ll of course remind you when each and every one of these games goes free, so keep an eye out for a shout.
Of course, all of this means that Far Cry 2, WRC 6 and the brilliant Celeste will soon all be going back up in price. If you haven’t therefore got involved with these games yet, and wish to see your Xbox One and Xbox 360 library of games increase, then we urge you to get to it.
The big question though is whether the Xbox Games With Gold titles for February 2019 are better than those that have gone before? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, or hit us up on the usual social media channels.
