Let’s not beat around the bush, the free Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles given away via the Xbox Games With Gold program for February 2019 weren’t exactly the best. Yes, it’s always appreciated to be able to dip into the worlds of Assassin’s Creed and Star Wars for nothing, but on the whole, the four games given away failed to really make much of a fuss amongst gamers. But hey, February is fast becoming a distant past and that means we must turn our attention to March – and a whole new set of free games. Games that have today been confirmed.
The announcement of the latest free Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles being stripped of their price tags via the Xbox Games With Gold scheme is one of those moments that us Xbox gamers live for. With valid Xbox Live Gold memberships to hand, and a keen love for anything free helping push us along, it would take a fool to not be interested in what is on offer.
So, what is on offer for Xbox gamers to enjoy – for nothing – throughout March 2019 and beyond? Well, how do the following freebies sound to you?
- Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion – Xbox One – 1st-31st March 2019
- Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 – Xbox One – 16th March – 15th April 2019
- Star Wars Republic Commando – Xbox – 1st-15th March 2019
- Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance – Xbox 360 – 16th-31st March 2019
As always, the announcement and utter confirmation that the titles above will soon be making their way to Xbox games free-of-charge means that those games that came in before, will shortly be going back up in price. Should you have not yet put your download in for Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Super Bomberman R or Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon then you should be getting to it asap. Time is fast running out and even if you don’t plan on playing the games quite yet, they may well be decent fillers for a cold winter’s evening.
We will of course remind you when each of the latest free Xbox Games With Gold titles get removed of those price tags, but in the meantime, let us know what you think of this collection of free games. The comments section is down below whilst you can also hit us up on the usual social channels.
