BAFTA Games in Concert has made a powerful first impression, with its world premiere at London’s Royal Festival Hall earning a rapturous standing ovation.
Celebrating two decades of BAFTA-nominated and award-winning video game music, the live performance brought some of the medium’s most iconic soundtracks to life through a full orchestral experience.
Performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra alongside London Voices, and conducted by BAFTA-winning composer Austin Wintory, the concert blended live music with synchronised gameplay footage and visuals, showcasing how deeply video game scores have shaped modern interactive entertainment across console, PC, and beyond.
And we loved it!
