Oddsparks – now on Xbox and PlayStation

Prepare to design, decorate, build, and automate with a charming twist in Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure on console.

Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure, the innovative blend of automation and real-time strategy from developer Massive Miniteam and publisher HandyGames, has officially launched its 1.0 version today. You’ll find it making a grand debut on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, inviting console players into its quirky fantasy world.

Following a “Very Positive” reception during its Steam Early Access journey, Oddsparks is now ready for its global multi-platform release.

The Standard Edition is available for ÂŁ24.99, with a feature-packed Deluxe Edition at ÂŁ33.49. This is a title we’ve been excited about, even including it in our 15 NEW Xbox Games Due to Release in May 2025 That Will BLOW YOUR MIND!

Welcome to the World of Oddsparks

Oddsparks offers a great entry point into automation games but with a fresh spin even for seasoned veterans.

You’ll explore a strange fantasy world, uncover the mysteries of the past, and, most importantly, automate your workshops with the help of your odd and adorable Spark companions! These little robotic helpers are key to everything.

Design, Automate, Explore, Adventure

The gameplay in Oddsparks is a unique fusion:

Above ground, you’ll build your thriving little gnome (Spark!) village. Unlock new buildings, research upgrades and abilities, establish production chains for valuable resources, and build up a tiny economy. This all helps your Sparks venture further and deeper on their adventures for riches.

Below, you’ll take your Sparks for an adventure into procedurally generated worlds. Forget conveyor belts! In Oddsparks, you design automated workshops and put your Sparks to work carrying and crafting everything you need – including more Sparks! This means managing Spark traffic to optimize your designs, using a wide toolbox of options to solve logistics puzzles as you tackle distance and elevation.

As you explore diverse and distinct biomes, you’ll face unusual enemies like Spunnies and Beelephants, find resources amidst forgotten ruins, clear paths to connect your workshops, and bring newfound knowledge back to your cozy, growing village.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
