Firstly, we can assure you that you won’t be disappointed by the latest exciting arrivals in Fury Unleashed, and secondly, everything we’re about to reveal is part of a free update. That means you can indulge in two new game modes, Crypt of the NecroDancer and SUPERHOT, as well as some little improvements to make your experience in the comic book roguelite even better.
The latest title update for Fury Unleashed on Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC, is now live. It introduces two additional game modes which see two rather familiar games and their quirky ideas making guest appearances. There’s ‘Crypt of the NecroDancer’, where you play the role of Cadence, the hero of the original game. Armed with a trusted shovel and a deadly crossbow, she waltzes through the game’s diverse environments, shooting bad guys while gloriously in-sync with the rhythm of the music. The tempo of the music tracks varies level to level, culminating in main boss arenas in which you really must stay true to the rhythm in order to survive.
And then the other is ‘SUPERHOT’ which completely turns around the in-game rules, ensuring time stops when the hero doesn’t move and flows when they do. That doesn’t mean the game’s going to be easy though, as you can survive just a single hit before starting over. The exception is that, with the help of Fury Unleashed’s original combo system, you can be awarded additional damage shields based on how well you dispose of the enemies in your path.

Furthermore, the folks at Awesome Games Studio have added a Save & Quit feature on consoles, alongside a big number of quality of life changes. These include things such as UI scaling, additional language support (Brazilian-Portuguese, Japanese, Korean), balance improvements, and bug fixes.
