Game Pass in June is HOT!

Xbox Game Pass is wasting no time in filling out its June schedule. Fresh from the arrivals of Herdling and Total Chaos last week, subscribers are now looking ahead to another substantial wave of additions, with everything from cozy survival crafting and boxing action to beloved JRPGs and cooperative space exploration landing over the next few days.

It’s a varied lineup once again, mixing Day One launches with returning favourites, and ensuring that whether you’re after a relaxing escape, a strategic challenge or a lengthy RPG adventure, there’s always something waiting in the Game Pass wings.

Solarpunk Brings A Different Kind Of Survival Game

Leading the charge from today is Solarpunk, a Day One release arriving on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Unlike many survival games that focus on danger and desperation, Solarpunk takes a far more optimistic approach. Set among floating islands in the sky, it encourages players to build sustainable communities powered by renewable energy while exploring the world in custom-built airships.

Whether you’re constructing elaborate homes, automating resource gathering with drones, farming crops or simply relaxing with friends in multiplayer, Solarpunk looks set to offer one of the most peaceful additions to the Game Pass library this year.

Boxing Fans Finally Get Their Shot

Today also sees Undisputed enter the service across cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld and PC.

Marketed as the return of authentic boxing simulation when it first launched a couple of years back, Undisputed features more than 70 licensed fighters, including legends like Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson alongside modern stars such as Tyson Fury and Canelo Álvarez. Detailed footwork systems, realistic defensive mechanics and a fully featured career mode aim to deliver the deepest boxing experience available on console and PC.

Persona 5 Royal Returns To The Spotlight

From there, June 9th brings the arrival of Persona 5 Royal, widely regarded as one of the finest JRPGs ever made.

Available on cloud, console and PC through Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass, the expanded edition includes all previously released DLC alongside the enhanced story content that helped elevate the original release even further.

For anyone who somehow missed Atlus’ award-winning adventure the first time around, this is an excellent opportunity to finally join the Phantom Thieves and experience one of gaming’s most stylish role-playing games. And it should be played, as we lead up to the upcoming releases of Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6.

And then a trio of Day One experiences round out the week as June 11th delivers three very different additions, two of which arrive Day One into the service.

Beastro Serves Up A Fresh Twist On Cozy Gaming

Beastro combines restaurant management, farming, deckbuilding and fantasy adventure into a surprisingly ambitious package. Players take on the role of Panko, a young chef tasked with feeding both local villagers and heroic adventurers preparing to battle monsters beyond the town walls.

The blend of cooking mechanics and card-based combat systems gives it a unique identity that could make it one of June’s sleeper hits.

Frog Sqwad Embraces Multiplayer Chaos

Meanwhile, Frog Sqwad takes a much sillier approach.

Supporting up to eight players, it sees teams of frogs swinging through procedurally generated sewers using their tongues, collecting food and attempting to satisfy the demands of the ever-hungry Swamp King. Physics-based gameplay, proximity voice chat and giant Megafrogs suggest plenty of opportunities for memorable multiplayer moments.

Starseeker Expands The Astroneer Universe

Rounding out the week is Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions, launching Day One in Game Preview across cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Rather than simply revisiting the formula of the original Astroneer, this new adventure places a greater emphasis on cooperative exploration and shared objectives. Players operate from the ESS Starseeker space station, embarking on expeditions to alien worlds filled with mysteries, dangerous creatures and evolving storylines.

Another Strong Week For Subscribers

What stands out most about this week’s Game Pass update is the sheer range on offer. Within a few days, subscribers can move from managing renewable energy systems in floating sky settlements to stepping into the ring with boxing legends, infiltrating palaces as a Phantom Thief or exploring distant planets alongside friends.

As always, let us know what you’ll be playing.
