What is being added to Game Pass this week?

Xbox Game Pass is launching into November with a potent blend of philosophical sci-fi and managerial simulation.

Headlining the week are the critically acclaimed narrative adventure 1000xResist and the highly anticipated return of Football Manager 26. This lineup offers subscribers both a cerebral, story-rich experience and endless tactical depth, ensuring your console and PC are primed for a busy week.

A new week (and new month for that matter), means new experiences are arriving on Game Pass. And what a week it is, with a number of new games hitting the subscription service.

1000xResist (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – November 4th

Get ready for one of the most unique narrative experiences in gaming as 1000xResist lands on Game Pass.

Set 1,000 years in the future, humanity is nearly extinct, and the last survivors live underground, ruled by clones of the immortal ‘ALLMOTHER.’ You are Watcher, tasked with reliving and interpreting the ALLMOTHER’s memories through a process called Communion. Your world shatters when a dangerous revelation suggests the ALLMOTHER’s history is a thousand-year-old lie.

The game is a visual and narrative spectacle, expertly blending 3rd-person adventure, visual novel elements, and first-person exploration. Inspired by the works of NieR: Automata‘s Yoko Taro and director Satoshi Kon, this fully voiced story – delivered by a cast of Asian-Canadian actors – is a profound journey about memory, trauma, and reclaiming legacy.

We’ll find out how things play in full review soon, but you can hit the Xbox Store to grab a free download for yourself.

Football Manager 26 (PC) – November 4th

The spreadsheets are back and more powerful than ever!

Football Manager 26 debuts on PC Game Pass, built on the new Unity engine to redefine the legacy of the management sim.

This edition features the long-awaited debut of Women’s Football, seamlessly integrated into the ecosystem, alongside the full licensing of the Premier League, including official club badges and kits. The Matchday experience is richer than ever with enhanced player movement and on-pitch detail.

Managers can exert total control with a game-changing UI overhaul and advanced transfer tools, including the power of TransferRoom to shape title-winning squads.

Whether you are leading a team to domestic glory or discovering new stars, your football destiny is yours to define.

Football Manager 26 Console (Cloud, Console, and PC) – November 4th

And of course, FM also hits console and the highly optimised console edition of the managerial powerhouse also arrives on Game Pass.

Football Manager 26 Console delivers an effortless, instinctive control scheme tailored for console and handheld play, placing you directly in the managerial hotseat. Enjoy the same immersive Matchday experience, the full Premier League licensing, and the debut of Women’s Football, all streamlined for console efficiency.

Also expect innovations like customisable in and out-of-possession formations and transformative transfer tools ensure you have total tactical control as you pursue the biggest prizes in football.

After the success of FM24, but then the cancellation of Football Manager 25, you can be sure this one is seriously anticipated. Our review of Football Manager 26 on Game Pass and Xbox will follow.

Voidtrain (Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud) – November 7th

Prepare for a unique co-op survival and crafting experience as Voidtrain officially launches Version 1.0 straight onto Game Pass.

You are an engineer thrust into the mysterious and surreal Void – a vast, ever-changing dimension. Your mission is simple: build and upgrade your own interdimensional train from scratch, transforming a simple trolley into a multi-wagon powerhouse.

You’ll explore floating islands, fight formidable enemies (from regular soldiers to bloodthirsty sharks), and scavenge resources.

The 1.0 release brings the emotional story finale, completing the Engineer’s journey, and introduces the Tesla Era, a major technological leap that redefines how you power and expand your custom train.

On the Horizon: November Departures?

As we look forward to the adrenaline rush of 1000xResist and the tactical depth of Football Manager 26, remember that the subscription cycle demands attention. While the full list of mid-month departures has yet to be officially announced, be prepared for some changes around the November 15th mark, you know, like happens every single month.

This week’s Game Pass update is arguably one of the most substantial non-holiday drops, balancing philosophical narrative with world-class sports management and unique co-op survival. Whether you’re questioning your own reality or managing your way to Premier League glory, your Game Pass subscription is delivering maximum value this November!

And more will follow as the month progresses too. We’ll keep you updated as new game confirmation arrives.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
