This week’s Game Pass changes are BIG!

Another week, another batch of exciting additions to Game Pass, both of the Xbox and PC variety, with a Day One debutant headlining!

This week sees four new titles joining the subscription service, offering a diverse mix of genres to suit every taste. From a brand-new co-op action-RPG to a critically acclaimed JRPG and even a relaxing island adventure, there’s something for everyone.

Here’s the breakdown of what’s coming to Game Pass this week:

March 18th: Dive into the Chaos of 33 Immortals (Game Preview)

  • Platforms: Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S
  • Game Pass Tiers: Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass

Kicking things off is 33 Immortals, a brand-new, day-one release entering Game Preview. This ambitious title is a 33-player co-op action-RPG. That’s right, thirty-three players working together! Expect chaotic battles, epic boss fights, and a unique take on the roguelike formula.

As a Game Preview title, 33 Immortals is still in development, so expect updates and changes as the developers gather feedback from the community. This is your chance to get in on the ground floor of something potentially very special.

March 19th: JRPG Excellence and Rail Simulation

  • Octopath Traveler II (Xbox Series X|S) – Game Pass Standard
  • Train Sim World 5 (Console) – Game Pass Standard

March 19th brings two highly-regarded titles to Game Pass.

First up is Octopath Traveler II, the critically acclaimed JRPG from Square Enix. We reviewed Octopath Traveler II, giving it a glowing 4.5/5 and saying: “Octopath Traveler II is challenging yet rewarding, full of narrative that you’ll want to immerse yourself in. It may initially feel a slog, but there are hours of play here, all of which play out across some great world design.

If you’re a fan of classic JRPGs with gorgeous visuals and engaging stories, this is a must-play.

Also arriving on March 19th is Train Sim World 5, bringing realistic train simulation to Game Pass for console.

We also reviewed Train Sim World 5, awarding it a 4/5 and noting: “There is no denying that Dovetail Games are the masters of this genre, and even though some will question whether we need a new game quite so often, I feel they do continue to improve the franchise with every step. This time around with Train Sim World 5 that comes in the form of Conductor Mode and the route hopping.

And if you’re looking to expand your Train Sim World 5 experience, don’t forget the recently released Cardiff City Network DLC, which adds the first Welsh route to the game!

March 20th: Relax and Unravel Mysteries in Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island

  • Platforms: Cloud, Console, and PC
  • Game Pass Tiers: Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, Game Pass Standard

Rounding out the week is Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, a relaxing adventure game set on a beautiful, sun-drenched island.

We gave Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island a 4/5 in our review, describing it as: “Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island is a game best enjoyed at a leisurely pace, margarita in hand. There’s no sense of urgency or threat, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the island’s tranquil atmosphere and the unfolding narrative. The concept is refreshing, and the process of collecting the gods’ memories is surprisingly addictive. And even if you do find the gameplay loop to be somewhat repetitive, the engaging writing and charming visuals should ensure this to be a worthwhile adventure.

If you’re looking for a chill and engaging experience, this is the perfect game to unwind with.

Another Great Week for Game Pass Subscribers?

This week’s Game Pass additions offer a fantastic variety of genres and experiences. Whether you’re looking for intense co-op action, a deep JRPG, realistic train simulation, or a relaxing island adventure, there’s something to enjoy.

Be sure to check out these titles as they arrive throughout the week.

What’s Next for Game Pass?

Don’t think that is it for Game Pass and March. We’ve got the Blizzard Arcade Collection landing on March 25th, fast followed by the hotly anticipated Atomfall on the 27th; another Day One drop.

In between those are three new games for Game Pass Core members too, as the 26th welcomes Tunic (play that game, it’s stunning), Batman: Arkham Knight (equally as good) and Monster Sanctuary (spoiler: we loved that too).

And as we’d then be reaching the end of the month, the usual last day removals come to the fore. You’ll be saying bye-bye to a ton…

  • Lil Gator Game (Cloud, Console, and PC)

  • Yakuza 0 (Cloud, Console, and PC)

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
