Available right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and through Game Pass, Neon White from Annapurna Interactive, Ben Esposito and Angel Matrix is a stylish speedrunning shooter. It’s previously been available on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, but now joins the Xbox world.

Play as White
If you just want to know the basics, then let us give it to you. Neon White is a lightning-fast, single-player speedrunning first-person shooter. It has you playing as White, sacrificing guns for godlike parkour moves. You’re an assassin handpicked from Hell, given the opportunity to compete with other demon slayers for a permanent spot in Heaven.
But whilst that is all pretty intriguing by itself, Neon White goes further. It has you using a unique card-based weapon system, quick hand-designed levels and a fast-paced soundtrack by Machine Girl, as players get the opportunity to turn into speedrunning freaks. And only through unraveling Heaven’s mysteries will you discover the other demon slayers are more familiar than they appear, and through the visual novel-inspired story, will learn it’s never too late to seek forgiveness.
