There’s a seriously busy week ahead for Xbox Game Pass, with High On Life 2 leading a stacked lineup of new arrivals across Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Cloud.
From futuristic heists and anime-inspired roguelite action to relaxing island life and a medieval RPG classic returning to the library, the week of February 9th is one of the most varied Game Pass updates in recent memory.
Let’s take a look at everything arriving, and what’s leaving, the Game Pass library this week.
Game Pass – Week Of February 9th Summary
- Relooted arrives February 10th
- BlazBlue Entropy Effect X arrives February 12th
- Roadside Research (Game Preview) arrives February 12th
- Starsand Island arrives February 12th
- High On Life 2 arrives February 13th
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance returns February 13th
- Madden NFL 24 leaves Game Pass
Relooted – February 10th
Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC
Set in an Africanfuturist vision of the late 21st century, Relooted flips the traditional heist formula on its head. Instead of stealing valuables for profit, players work to reclaim historically significant African artifacts from Western museums after diplomatic efforts fail.
Planning plays a huge role here, with puzzle-based preparation phases leading into fast-paced parkour escapes. Recruiting crew members with unique skills adds another strategic layer, while the futuristic Johannesburg setting gives the game a distinctive identity.
With its mix of stealth, teamwork, and cultural storytelling, Relooted stands out as one of the most original Game Pass additions this month.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect X – February 12th
Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC
The BlazBlue universe expands into roguelite territory with BlazBlue Entropy Effect X, combining stylish anime visuals with fast-paced action combat.
Players take control of Ace, diving repeatedly into the mysterious “Sea of Possibility” to recover fragments that could prevent the world’s collapse. Each run reveals new memories and abilities, while familiar BlazBlue characters join the roster.
Precision combat, strong visual design, and replayable roguelite progression systems make this one a promising addition for action fans.
Roadside Research (Game Preview) – February 12th
Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC
Game Preview continues to deliver experimental ideas, and Roadside Research is certainly one of them. Players control aliens disguised as humans running a roadside gas station while secretly studying humanity.
Balancing normal daily tasks like stocking shelves and serving customers with covert research mechanics creates a quirky gameplay loop. Suspicion management adds tension, especially when government officials begin investigating.
As an early-access experience, Roadside Research is still evolving, but its unusual premise could make it a cult favourite.
Starsand Island – February 12th
Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC
For players looking for something calmer, Starsand Island offers a peaceful lifestyle simulation set in a coastal paradise.
Farming, fishing, building a home, exploring forests, and forming relationships with island residents all play central roles. There’s even light combat and mystery-hunting in hidden ruins for those seeking adventure alongside relaxation.
With cosy gameplay and creative freedom, Starsand Island brings a welcome change of pace to the Game Pass catalogue.
High On Life 2 – February 13th
Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC
The biggest arrival of the week is undoubtedly High On Life 2, which sees Squanch Games’ chaotic sci-fi shooter return with more alien weaponry, bizarre humour, and intergalactic bounty hunting.
After defeating a powerful cartel in the original game, players are pulled back into action when a new threat places a bounty on their sister. Expect wild environments, strange characters, and fast-paced combat as you travel across the galaxy once again.
If the first game’s comedic shooter formula clicked with you, this sequel looks ready to deliver even more absurd adventure.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance – February 13th
Cloud, Console, PC
Also returning to the service is Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the historically grounded RPG from Warhorse Studios.
Set in medieval Bohemia, the game follows Henry, a blacksmith’s son seeking revenge after his village is destroyed. Its realistic combat, detailed world, and strong storytelling remain impressive years after release.
As we said in our review: “Kingdom Come: Deliverance delivers a huge, complex world with a host of things to get involved in. The story is well written, brilliantly acted and expertly executed.”
This is a great opportunity for new players to experience one of the most immersive historical RPGs available.
Leaving Game Pass
There is just the one solitary game leaving the service this week, and we’d suspect it’s one that many have called time on already:
- Madden NFL 24 – ‘The excellent on-field action in Madden NFL 24 is badly let down by the performance elsewhere.‘
Subscribers can still purchase it with a membership discount before it disappears from the library.
Another Big Month For Game Pass
With High On Life 2, multiple indie releases, and the return of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, this week’s Game Pass refresh shows just how diverse the subscription library continues to be. Whether you’re planning elaborate heists, running a suspicious gas station, exploring a peaceful island, or diving into medieval warfare, there’s something new waiting to play.
What’s Next For Game Pass?
There are more games coming to Game Pass soon too, as the subscription momentum in 2026 shows no sign of slowing down. Expect to be playing Avatar Frontiers of Pandora and Avowed from February 17th, with more to follow from there on out.
