Looking to run over the hills and far away, becoming a loner in the process and escaping the blues? The latest Rocksmith content allows for all three of those activities as it deliver a Gary Moore themed Song Pack to the masses.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC, the Rocksmith Gary Moore Song Pack is the latest addition to the ever expanding library, providing would-be guitarists the opportunity to learn, play and master a trio of Moore’s finest.

The Northern Irish guitarist had a ton of success over the years before his passing in 2011, but now it’s time to see his music start appealing to a whole new audience as they attempt to learn his riffs and master his chords with the following three tunes…

  • Over the Hills and Far Away
  • Still got the Blues
  • The Loner

Priced up at £2.49 each, or available as part of the Gary Moore Song Pack for £6.69, these three tunes really do hammer home the importance of Moore. With Over the Hills and Far Away catapulting him on to near super stardom back in 1987, and then the blues based album, with the song of the same name, ensuring his name was met with worldwide acclaim thereafter, you can be sure that each and every one of the tracks included in this latest Rocksmith DLC pack will be able to lighten up your life.

You will need the brilliant base game/tutoring service to hand prior to getting in on the action – and if you haven’t yet read our review of Rocksmith on Xbox One, please do so – but then you’re good to go. The usual digital store will allow access with the Xbox Store providing the goods for Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers, whilst those on PS3 and PS4 will need to head to the PlayStation Store.

Should the tunes that Gary Moore has created not be to your liking, then there are a whole ton of other options available. In fact, the Rocksmith library is positively overflowing with weekly content drops that just keep giving gamers more reasons to fall back into the guitar teacher.

Whatever you decide to pick up, let us know about it in the comments below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
