Borderlands goes tabletop! Following on from the success of the Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep DLC for Borderlands 2 – and subsequent re-release in 2021 – is a fully-fledged title. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is out now on Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
Switching from the post-apocalypse world of Pandora to a medieval tabletop boardgame is no easy feat. But, if anyone can make us believe, it is Tiny Tina herself. Join her as the DM for Bunkers & Badasses, not in any way affiliated with Dungeons & Dragons.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is still peak Borderlands though, with more loot and weapons than you will ever need. And, just because it has gone medieval, you can still expect most of that loot to be guns, guns and more guns.
After filling in your character sheet and rolling for initiative your quest begins to defeat the Dragon Lord. Team up with Captain Valentine and a robot named Frette – along with many other colourful characters – to blast away thousands of enemies. If the AI doesn’t do it for now, Wonderlands features four-player co-op once again, including two-players locally. Even better, for those playing with friends across console generations, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands features cross-gen multiplayer.
Also in true Borderlands style, there are a number of options available to you on the Xbox Store. The standard edition of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will cost £59.99. The Next-Level Edition is next at £64.99 but comes with some bonus items in the form of the Dragon Lord Pack. Finally, there is the Chaotic Great Edition at £79.99 which comes bundled with all the aforementioned content, plus the Butt Stallion Pack and the Season Pass.
