
We may have Hot Wheels Unleashed on the near horizon, and Forza Horizon 5 may be fast following that, but there’s always room in life for a new racer. Isn’t there? Well, Microids certainly hope there is as they’ve today unveiled Gear.Club Unlimited 2 – Ultimate Edition for Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
Having sold more than a million copies on Nintendo Switch, the Gear.Club franchise is now getting set to conquer other grids, with Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and PC players soon being able to get behind the wheel of the racer.
It’ll be November 30th 2021 when we discover the racing series hitting PC and home consoles, with a brand new edition – Gear.Club Unlimited 2 – Ultimate Edition.
Gear.Club Unlimited 2 – Ultimate Edition will feature all the content already available in Gear.Club Unlimited 2, allowing players to throw themselves into exciting races with the most prestigious supercars. This will mean you get to compete in more than 250 races and tackle the Porsche Series from behind the wheel of the mythical 911 930 Turbo! Of course, in order to stand on the top step however you’ll need talent, discipline, resilience and the mastering of the gas pedal.
With legendary vehicles in place, a huge environment with rich & diverse landscapes promised, remastered graphics providing an enhanced experience, Gear.Club Unlimited 2 should be able to cover a ton of bases. There will be a Career mode in which you can save the family racing team from bankruptcy by challenging charismatic drivers of various nationalities, and alongside that will be the Porsche Series mode – letting you drive the famous manufacturer’s most prestigious vehicles, all in hope of getting behind the wheel of the iconic 911 930 Turbo.
But there’s more. Creating and managing your Club, recruiting the best players you come across will be par for the course, as will the opportunity to take on rival clubs from around the world as you lead your crew to the top of the leaderboard. And in order to prove yourself as a proper petrolhead, Unlimited 2 will let you run a garage full of the finest racing vehicles, letting you admire those that you acquire. Gear Club Unlimited 2 offers more than 50 licensed vehicles from some
of the world’s most prestigious manufacturers.
Whether you are looking to race alone or with friends, the game offers many multi-player possibilities, with up to 4 players in local split-screen mode.
Whilst Forza Horizon 5 may well be the hottest racer on the grid, there’s a chance that Microids will be able to compete with the launch of Gear.Club Unlimited 2. We’ll only find out when the game hits come November 30th on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and PC. The current Unlimited 2 version will also release on Switch in Ultimate Edition form.
