We all know that the eSports world is on the up and today Xbox have announced the Gears eSports Pro Circuit for Gears of War 4.
Launching in November 2016 and in tandem with The Coalition, the Gears Pro Circuit will allow Gears of War players the chance to compete in marquee live events around the world, putting themselves in the running to win up to $1million dollars in cash prizes. Operated by Major League Gaming and Gfinity, players will be able to earn Gears Pro Points by competing in MLG GameBattles online ladders, across daily and weekly tournaments.
Those points will in turn earn gamers a place on the international circuit with open LAN events running every 1-2 months, stopping at London, Paris, Columbus, Mexico City, and Las Vegas.

If you’re interested and wish to show your support, Gears of War fans will also be able to purchase cosmetic digital in-game content. Gears eSports will also be able to collaborate with popular eSports team organisations to bring their brands into cosmetic digital in-game content that fans can wear and equip. Gears eSports also looks forward to working with local and grassroots tournament organisers on more events during the program where players can have additional opportunities to earn Gears Pro Points.
