Get ready to Drive on Moscow as turn-based strategy hits Xbox One

Latest Reviews

If you’re after a new wargame, and like a bit of turn-based strategy, then heading off on a Drive on Moscow should be something to seriously consider.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Drive on Moscow from Slitherine Software, comes with a ÂŁ7.99 price attached, as it invites you in to the most pivotal battle of World War II.

Two choices are in place – you can either defend your homeland as the Soviet forces, or take the lead and make for a push to seize and take control of the Soviet capital as the Axis. Whichever route you decide to take, you’ll find yourself – as the commander of a legion of troops – barking out orders so that your squad can overcome a detailed campaign map, pull off the most intense of strategies and capture vast swathes of enemy territory.

An impulse based turn system will see all this come together and the most precise timing should ensure that you and your troops come out on top to win the campaign.

If you like the sound of all that, and wish to take on something a little different, then Drive on Moscow is for you. The Microsoft Store will give you the chance to hit the battlefield and lead those troops to glory.

Game Description:

Drive on Moscow: War in the Snow, a strategy game from the award-winning makers of Battle of the Bulge, invites you to take command of the pivotal battle of World War II! Defend the homeland as the Soviets, or lead a bold push to seize the Soviet capital as the Axis. As commander, direct your troops across a detailed campaign map, capturing territory and planning strategies. You must overcome your opponent, vast distances, and extreme weather to achieve victory. Thanks to the impulse based turn system, you’ll activate individual sectors: choose wisely, time is of the essence and correct timing is crucial to win the campaign.
