Get Up Close and Personal with the Kraken’s Lair and Sniper Elite 5

Rebellion and Sniper Elite 5 have provided a host of missions for players, taking us deep Amongst the Rubble to hunting down a Concealed Target. Today we get Up Close and Personal with the Kraken’s Lair. 

The latest expansion for Sniper Elite 5 brings forth a few options for players, as the free multiplayer map of Kraken’s Lair rolls out alongside a paid drop of the Up Close and Personal Weapon and Skin Pack, the latest addition to arrive through the Season Pass One. 

We’ll start with the freebie and the new Kraken’s Lair map takes players back to the Nazi submarine pen that they’ll have experienced in the Campaign as it becomes a new battleground for multiplayer conflict. Overhead walkways offer great vantage points for sniping, while you can also fight it out on the decks of the submarines and in the tight, confined spaces of the corridors. You’ll find that this free map is available now to all players in multiplayer.

If you’re up for opening the wallet though, it’s the Up Close and Personal Weapon and Skin Pack that will appeal. This includes two new high-powered weapons as well as a new ‘Tank Top’ look for Karl and Monika.

Pay up and you’ll find the Win & Co 1885, a heavy-hitting rifle that comes with an enormous .50 calibre 50-110 round which can eliminate any enemy with a single shot. It’s this which is complimented by a new submachine gun, the ERMA.36. Featuring an integral suppressor and high muzzle velocity, the ERMA.36 is a heavy but powerful stealth SMG.
