If the names are anything to go by, then the inclusion of Morbid Angel, Testament and Darkthrone is a decent indication of the way the Rocksmith gods are going with the latest DLC addition to the game. And yep, if you’re after some hard metal, you’re going to be hugely interested in this week’s new content.
Available to purchase and download right now for Rocksmith 2014 Edition and Rocksmith Remastered on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC is the Rocksmith Metal Mix Song Pack – a collection of three tunes which will be hard enough to knock your fillings out.
Priced up at £6.39, the Metal Mix Song Pack contains the following:
- Morbid Angel – Immortal Rites
- Testament – Souls of Black
- Darkthrone – Transilvanian Hunger
As has been the case since day dot, each of the tunes above are also available to purchase individually, with a £2.39 purchase seeing the best from Morbid Angel, Darkthrone and Testament making their way swiftly to your Rocksmith library. If you can only handle the one tune, that is the route to take.
It must be said, this isn’t a content pack for the faint-hearted and only hardcore metalheads should apply this week. But should that be you, and you feel like you need a bit of a kick in order to grab the guitar and rock out once more, then the Metal Mix Song Pack should be one to get involved in.
