Ready for some first person cyberpunk parkouring? Ghostrunner is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC and today the full release date has become known.
Created by the trio of teams at One More Level, 3D Realms and Slipgate Ironworks, the cyberpunky parkour experience that is Ghostrunner will be slashing its way to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 27th 2020 – but if you can’t wait that long then you’ll be able to get involved in the private beta ahead of time.
Ghostrunner will have you pulling off deadly assaults like never before, as you take the fight to a host of unique enemies, scale to incredible heights with death-defying acrobatic abilities, and hack into the network of humanity’s final city, all whilst working under the guidance of the Architect and newly-revealed ally, Zoe. It promises to be pretty damn neat too – and that is why we included it in a recent list of indie games to keep an eye on.
With co-publishers All in! Games and 505 Games revealing at Gamescom that players will be able to drop into a beta, providing assassins with exclusive access to Ghostrunner if selected, those who are looking for a bit of a test can now get involved. To apply, interested players can join the Ghostrunner Discord server – you can join TheXboxHub’s Discord server if you like too – and submit an application. Or you can hold off until September 29th when an updated free demo of Ghostrunner will arrive on Steam.
The game features NVIDIA RTX Ray Tracing, and that will mean that Ghostrunner offers immersive and impressive visuals usually reserved for AAA studios. And should you get involved, you will get to experience gorgeously detailed cyberpunk-inspired dystopian environments while dashing and slashing along to an intense synthwave soundtrack by the acclaimed Daniel Deluxe.
We’ll be sure to remind you when that October 27th release date for Ghostrunner on Xbox One, PS4 and PC comes into view. Expect it to set you back $29.99 / €29.99 / ÂŁ24.99.
