The sisters are back and heading for an all-new adventure. A fast one at that!
Giana Sisters: Dream Runners will be coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC, bringing highly accessible, competitive and instantly-fun multiplayer racing to our screens. Catering for up to four players, Black Forest Games and EuroVision reckon it’ll play like “Micro Machines” or “SpeedRunners,” as up to 4 players compete in local couch-multiplayer or in online matches. Sounds good to us!
With the inclusion of special abilities and a large range of power-ups across the game’s nine different maps, you’ll need to avoid obstacles and try not to get hit by the stunning, slowing, stopping or repelling effects.
Whilst five characters will be available to run, whether you’re a Ninja, an Owl, a Knight or a Robot, to keep things completely fair, each player will have the same set of skills available.
Features to include:
- Dash lets your hero hurry forward like an arrow
- Twirling makes you fly for a little distance, as your hero rapidly rotates around its own axis
- Crouching helps you avoid obstacles by niftily sliding underneath them
- The Gem Boost makes your hero insanely fast for a short duration, but consumes all collected Gems
