One of 2022’s sleeper hits – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge – returns with a brand-new DLC experience. Dimension Shellshock opens up a whole multiverse of madness within the TMNT lore, as two iconic heroes arrive as playable characters.
Usagi & Karai!
The most notable additions to TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge with this new DLC on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC are Usagi and Karai. The former is a samurai rabbit best known for their appearances in the Usagi Yojimbo comic run, but has made regular appearances in TMNT.
Karai, on the other hand, is TMNT through and through. She is a high-ranking member of the shadowy Foot Clan ninja organisation, and will be bringing her rapid moves to Shredder’s Revenge. When you are fighting against multiple enemies at once in this side-scrolling brawler, some lightning-fast attacks are in order.
A Brand-New Mode
Fighting off against the Foot Clan in order to pursue Shredder, Dimension Shellshock also features a new Survival Mode. A roguelite mode of sorts, this will see you fighting against a wave of enemies, before deciding which inter-dimensional portal to enter through. As you fight through waves, you’ll unlock mysterious perks, and may even shapeshift into an iconic TMNT enemy.
Survival Mode may also bestow exclusive character colours to its most dedicated players!
Free Updates!
To go alongside the paid Dimension Shellshock DLC, developers Tribute Games are releasing a free update for their game. This update adds in a suite of colour palette options for players’ favourite characters.

All of this sounds extremely shell-tastic indeed. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge – Dimensional Shellshock is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch and PC. You can pick it up for £6.69 via the Xbox Store.
