Admit it, we’ve all done it; slowed down whilst driving past an accident to get a better look at the carnage. It is only human nature. This analogy was recently used to describe why The Callisto Protocol doesn’t hide any of the gruesome deaths you will encounter, and we can kind of understand why. But if you saw something you could help out with, would you? It is time to tune in those altruistic tendencies with Accident, out today on Xbox and PlayStation.
In Accident, you are a journalist investigating old car accidents and helping to piece together just what exactly happened. You can also perform first aid on those involved and make the scene once again safe. However, the challenge comes in that actions must be performed in a certain order. Failure to do so could result in more severe casualties. But you will need to think quick; time is against you.
Some of your responsibilities in Accident are:
- Secure the area of oncoming traffic
- Check for survivors
- Make choices which have real consequences
- Help victims and perform first aid to save lives
- Find crucial evidence to uncover clues
- Reconstruct the scene and reveal the truth
“Accident has been a joy to watch grow, crashing onto PC and Switch to lots of fantastic feedback from players, Xbox and PlayStation launches were the logical next step!” said Michał Szewerniak, Game Director and Vice President of the Management Board of Duality Games. “We are looking forward to seeing new recruits investigating these accidents, discovering their secrets and hopefully bringing them justice!”
Accident is on the Xbox Store now priced at £12.49. For those looking for a bit more to go on before making a decision on this unusual title, our review will be coming soon. If you are already sold be Accident, let us know in the comments below.
