A double dose of goat-tastic goodness is playing out today with a new update and some paid DLC for Goat Simulator 3.
Coffee Stain are celebrating the 2nd anniversary of Goat Simulator 3 with a free community update and a paid Hocus Pocus DLC pack, both arriving on all systems today. As we discovered in our review of the base game, this chaotic sandbox adventure delivers a hilarious and unpredictable experience, and these new additions promise to amplify the mayhem.
Community Creations Come to Life
The free community update showcases the creativity of the Goat Simulator 3 community, introducing new events, abilities, instincts, and gears based on winning submissions from the recent Gear Competition.
Players can now wreak havoc with:
- Bob (the Blobfish): Embrace the absurdity of a blobfish-inspired goat, courtesy of Wilem Ménard.
- Puppet Goat: Transform into a puppet-like goat and control your limbs with hilarious precision, thanks to Jeroen Vermeulen.
- Grappling Bow: Launch a grappling hook and swing through the world with this unique new gear, created by Evan Jonah Grizzard.
In addition to these community-designed creations, the update also includes sleek new menu additions, such as upgraded pop-ups, a news feed, and an “add-ons” option for the Wardrobe.
Hocus Pocus DLC: Unleash Your Inner Magic Goat
For those seeking even more goat-tastic mayhem, the Hocus Pocus DLC pack delivers a magical twist to the sandbox experience. It comes with 20 new bits of gear, including six with brand-new abilities, a new high-flying vehicle, and five challenging instincts. This DLC will have you casting spells and causing chaos like never before.
Highlights from the Hocus Pocus Pack:
- Chain Spirit Boots: Link objects together and create a chain reaction of destruction.
- The Broom: Soar through the skies on a magical broomstick and feel the wind in your goat fur.
- Dragon Scales: Unleash fiery tornadoes and incinerate anything that stands in your path.
- Owl Companion: Befriend a wise owl companion who delivers “gifts” (in the form of unsuspecting NPCs).
