Goat Simulator Remastered – out now!

Remember when we took a nostalgic look back at the original Goat Simulator? Well, hold onto your udders, because the game that defined goat-fueled mayhem is back and more ridiculous than ever with Goat Simulator: Remastered.

Coffee Stain Publishing has unleashed Goat Simulator: Remastered, a lovingly crafted remaster of the 2014 classic that’s now available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store. And the best part? It’s also available on Game Pass from day one!

Lick, Headbutt, and Ruin Everyone’s Day

Goat Simulator: Remastered is a single-player sandbox where chaos reigns supreme. As Pilgor the goat, you’ll wreak havoc on the unsuspecting citizens of Goatville and beyond, licking, headbutting, and causing general mayhem wherever you go.

This remaster takes the original’s absurdity and cranks it up a notch with improved visuals, updated textures, and even shinier foliage.

A Playground of Goatly Delights

Goat Simulator: Remastered includes all the DLC from the original PC version, plus a mobile-exclusive favourite, offering a wealth of content to explore:

  • GoatVille: The bustling metropolis of the goat world, filled with unsuspecting NPCs and endless opportunities for destruction.
  • Goat City Bay: A coastal paradise ripe for exploration and goat-induced chaos.
  • Goat MMO: Embark on a fantastical adventure in a medieval-inspired MMO world.
  • Goat Z: Survive the zombie apocalypse as a goat with a penchant for headbutting the undead.
  • PAYDAY: Gather your goat gang and pull off a heist in this action-packed DLC.
  • Waste of Space: Explore the outer reaches of space and discover hilarious sci-fi references.
  • Buck to School: Return to high school as a goat and cause mayhem in the halls of GoatVille High.

Buggy Goodness Intact

In true Goat Simulator fashion, the remaster retains the original’s delightful bugginess. Physics glitches, unexpected ragdolls, and hilarious exploits are all part of the experience, adding to the game’s unpredictable and chaotic charm.

We’ll be sure to review that charm soon, but if you want to know more about Goat Simulator as a franchise, perhaps give our review of Goat Simulator 3 a read too. There’s even some Goat Simulator Pinball if that is more your animal.

A Remaster That Nobody Asked For (But Everyone Needs)

We’re really excited to launch Goat Simulator: Remastered today, letting a new generation of players have a new and improved taste of the nonsense we cooked up over a decade ago,” said Joel Rydholm, Producer at Coffee Stain Publishing. “Jump on board this nostalgia cruise with us, and wonder why we didn’t just make everything look this nice the first time around. It probably shouldn’t have taken us 10 whole years to improve the original, but better late than never, right? We’ve finally created the ultimate Goat Simulator experience that we hope both new and long-standing fans will love.

Goat Simulator: Remastered is available now on Xbox Series X|S (Xbox Store), PlayStation 5, and PC, including landing Day One on Game Pass. £24.99 if you don’t have Game Pass.

Wherever you play, grab your goat horns, prepare for a wild ride, and experience the ultimate in goat simulation technology.
