Gothic horror hits Xbox One, PS4 and PC as Black Mirror releases

-

Way back in 2004, the first part of a creepy point and click series released as Black Mirror hit gamers’ lives. That was followed up in 2009 by the second part with Black Mirror III being delivered in 2011. Now though, here and now at the back end of 2017 and Black Mirror is back as THQ Nordic and KING Art Game reboot the series.

Available right now is a brand new, completely independent telling of Black Mirror. Priced at £31.99 (with an initial launch discount bringing that price down to £25.59, whether you are familiar with the Black Mirror series or not matters little. You see, this game brings a whole new story, some modern day visuals and a whole new gameplay element – the interaction with vision-like apparitions.

A tight, eerie atmosphere holds the latest Black Mirror story together as you get to take in an HP Lovecraft style telling, all whilst being treated to some high quality voice acting.

If you’re after a new adventure, just fancy being whisked back in time to 1926, or remember Black Mirror from the first time around, then you could do worse than hit up the Microsoft Store (or the PS4 equivalent) and get your download in. Our full review of the game will be with you very soon so if you’re one of those sitting on the fence, then it may be worth holding out in the hope it’ll swing you into a purchase.

Will this be something you are downloading asap? Don’t forget – that comment section is down below and ready to action!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
