Gravity Duck gets stinking rich on Xbox One, PS4, Vita and Switch

Past history has proven that the team at Ratalaika Games only deal with super cheap, super cheerful gaming ideas. But with Gravity Duck on console it’s all about the money. And the mind-bending gravity based puzzles. Oh, and the duck.

Available to purchase and download on Xbox One, PS4 and PS Vita right this very minute, with a Nintendo Switch launch rocking up on the 16th August, Gravity Duck sets itself up alongside previous Ratalaika Games titles like Warlock’s Tower and Bouncy Bullets with a cheap price tag attached – but from there on out, it’s all about the money.

Priced up at £4.99, a purchase of Gravity Duck will see you thrust into no less than 140 levels set across 4 differing chapters as you take charge of Mr Duck and dodge a variety of obstacles that get in your way. The overall goal is to collect up your precious golden eggs and return to the Maui statue as fast as you can, but with gravity wells that see you changing direction as you go, it’s obviously not going to be totally straightforward. But hey, it should be fun though.

Features include:

  • * Flip between 140 levels across 4 chapters
  • * Catchy 8-bit music
  • * Vibrant pixelated levels
  • * Use gravity wells to change the direction in which you fall
  • * Dodge spikes, projectiles, and traps to secure the eggs.

First created by Woblyware and then ported by Ratalaika, we’re pretty sure this gravity loving duck isn’t going to be delivering another Game of the Year related, but the combination of price, fun visuals and test of skills should mean that it’s worth a sot. In fact, we’ve got a cheap price point, we’ve got some gravity defying puzzles, we’ve got some golden egg collection, and we’ve got a duck who can walk on the ceiling. What’s not to like?

Well, not much really but as always it’ll be our full review of Gravity Duck on Xbox One that is able to provide the final say. Make sure you keep an eye out for it coming to these pages real soon, but in the meantime, if you just want to take a cheap gaming punt make sure you head on over to the usual digital stores and get a download of Gravity Duck in right now. The Xbox Store will sort out the Xbox One gamers, while that of the PlayStation Store will happily provide a download to PS4 and Vita owners. Those on Switch should hold tight a couple of days before getting in on the action.

Quack quack!
