Great God Grove – out now

A divine comedy unlike any other – Great God Grove lands on Xbox, Switch and PC.

LimboLane, the creators of the quirky and charming Smile For Me, and indie label Fellow Traveller are releasing Great God Grove today, a game that’s as bizarre as it is delightful. As we discovered in our review of the Xbox Series X|S version, Great God Grove is a game with a ton of personality, and it’s now available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Save the World (from a Bunch of Squabbling Gods)

In Great God Grove, the apocalypse is nigh, and the gods, well, they’re not exactly handling it with grace.

The god of communication has stirred up trouble and gone AWOL, leaving the world on the brink of destruction. It’s up to you, as the new mail-carrier for the gods, to restore order and prevent the apocalypse.

A Divine Comedy of Errors

Great God Grove is a point-and-click adventure filled with quirky characters, bizarre puzzles, and a healthy dose of offbeat humour.

Suck up speech bubbles and launch them at unsuspecting gods, navigate a world populated by talking scarecrows and cooking puppets, and unravel a story that’s as unpredictable as it is hilarious.

Features That Will Make You Say “Holy Moly!”

  • Unique Communication Mechanic: Suck up and launch speech bubbles to interact with characters, solve puzzles, and even hurt the feelings of grumpy gods.
  • Bizarre Cast of Characters: Meet a diverse cast of gods, each with their own quirks and personalities, from the god of teamwork to the god of love songs.
  • Third and First-Person Gameplay: Experience the world from different perspectives as you explore the Grove and interact with its inhabitants.
  • Puzzles and Challenges: Solve a variety of puzzles and overcome challenges to progress through the story and save the world from impending doom.
  • Hand-Drawn Visuals: Immerse yourself in a colourful and charming world brought to life with hand-drawn art and animation.

A Game with Personality

As we noted in our review, “Great God Grove has a ton of personality and sets out to do what it wants. It may not be a game for everyone, but if you like point and click style games and are looking for something you can complete in a weekend, then it’s well worth checking out.

Great God Grove is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S (Xbox Store link for you), and Nintendo Switch. So grab your controller, prepare for a wacky adventure, and help save the world from the squabbling gods in this unique and hilarious point-and-click experience!

Great God Grove Description

THE WORLD IS ENDING AND THE GODS ARE SQUABBLING! Suck up and launch speech bubbles in a wacky world of puzzles, puppets, and weird gods… or THE RIFT WILL CONSUME US ALL!! Once in a generation, the gods come together to postpone the apocalypse. But this time, the god of communication started a bunch of heavenly fights and then went awol. With the sky splitting and the gods in disarray, who’s gonna join the Bizzyboys to help SAVE DA WORLD FROM A-POCKY-LIPS???

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
