Greedfall brings a mysterious world of magic and adventure to Xbox One, PS4 and PC

The one thing I love when starting any new RPG is the sense of wonder and possibility at the size and scope of a new world to explore. Greedfall on Xbox One, PS4 and PC is a completely new IP that was going under the radar until a couple of months ago, but then it delivered an awesome trailer. It has been inspired by 17th Century history, just an alternative version of it, and from the start of the game, you get to leave the old continent to explore the island of Teer Fradee. And you know what? You can do that right now as Greedfall launches on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Available to download right now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, in Greedfall you don’t just get to choose the sex and class of your hero, but are then given the opportunity to venture out into a warring world fall of factions, monsters, and magic. You travel with five companions, utilising two at a time for each adventure, and the decisions you make, and relationships which are formed, are dictated by you as you move along the way. 

For the price tag of £44.99, Greedfall promises to let you play through in a number of ways, with diplomacy, stealth and combat, at the forefront. With loads of abilities to choose from and over 80 skills to use, it is up to you to play the way you want to play. Want to talk your way through any trouble? No problem? Want to bash someone over the head with a large blunt instrument? You got it. Greedfall delivers. 

Further to that though is a Day One piece of DLC too – the Adventurer’s Gear DLC. This is priced at just £2.49 but will provide an extra Explorer’s Outfit, the Rapier of the Alchemist blade, and the Wild Boar Ivory Rifle. Should you decide you need a bit more with Greedfall, this extra purchase should at the very least be considered. 

Greedfall is available right now on Xbox One and the Xbox Store will allow you the chance to delve right into this amazing looking world and RPG. It’s also available on PS4 and PC and as always we’ll have a full review for you very soon. Make sure you keep an eye out for it.
