mastho is together xbox

It’s time to squish and squash your way to sweet glory as Mastho is Together releases on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch, giving you the opportunity to take charge of a sugar-free marshmallow on a mission.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch – and this is one that is fully optimised for next-gen too – Mastho is Together from Kind Cat Games, Ratalaika Games and Eastasiasoft is a fun pixel perfecting platformer in which the ultimate joy is that of vitality.

Priced at a super low £4.19 from the Xbox Store, Mastho is Together sees you joining the titular protagonist – Mastho – as you help guide the squishy one past a ton of obstacles and through multiple stages, jumping, dashing and understanding the puzzles that lay in the way.

It’s pretty minimalist in visual terms, there are no menus, nor any loading screens – instead you are thrown into the world it brings and left to get on with it. It’s not going to be easy though and you should expect a bit of death every now and then, before you immediately respawn into the action and try, try again.

Key features include:

  • Squish and squash through 40 challenging stages of precision platforming.
  • Jump off walls and air dash in 8 directions for maximum mobility!
  • Get straight into the action with no menus, no messy interface and no load times.
  • Adapt to new mechanics introduced every 5 levels!
  • Enjoy polished sound effects and a chill soundtrack to help keep your cool.

If you’re up for 40 stages of pure healthy sweetness and reckon the platforming of Mastho is Together is one for you, you’ll want to head to the digital store of your choice, taking home a download in the process.

Mastho is Together is downloadable and playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

Stay tuned for our full review.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
