Who the hell wants to sit around plucking strings by themselves when they can get a group together for the ultimate jam session? No-one that’s who…which is why today’s Guitar Hero Live announcement should excite many.

Activision have today confirmed that come Oct 7th, Guitar Hero Live Supreme Party Edition will arrive on Xbox One and PS4. As the ultimate bundle, the Supreme Party Edition will drop as a two guitar bundle, providing hours or entertainment, over 500 songs and bonus on-demand content.

With a track list that includes hundreds of songs, including the music of The Rolling Stones, The Black Keys, Queen, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fall Out Boy, Pearl Jam, Bruno Mars, Weezer, Iggy Pop, Alt-J, Jet, ZZ Top, Rage Against the Machine, Megadeth, The Strokes, Royal Blood, Ed Sheeran, Gary Clark Jr., and many more, if you haven’t previously got involved with Guitar Hero Live, or just fancy experiencing it all with a friend, then you could do worse than check out the Supreme Party Edition.

We will of course remind you when it drops.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
