You may well think you know of Moonfall, after all it has previously released on Steam. Now though it’s time for Moonfall Ultimate to take centre stage and after releasing on PS4, Switch and PC in the last day or so, it’s now the turn of Xbox One owners to get a glimpse at this gothic RPG.
A 2D side scrolling that revels in the action RPG stakes, Moonfall Ultimate will have you hacking, slashing and casting your way across a hand painted industrial gothic world. Whether you take to the fight as a solo warrior, or prefer to run with a couch buddy beside you matters little for all you need to worry about is focusing on the real time combat and metroidvania style exploration wherever possible.
An endless arcade mode is also present for those looking for something a little less serious, but with a story that tells of how a small kingdom is put under threat from the Savages and the promise of some atmospheric gameplay, study levelling up systems and multiple character classes, those with a liking to the RPG world will probably do well to take a look.
Full details of how Moonfall Ultimate handles will be found in our upcoming review, but should you wish to take a punt then the Xbox Store will be happy to oblige with a download. Pay it a visit, spend the required £9.99 and your job is a good un.
