Blood of Mehran
Blood of Mehran – out now on Xbox, PlayStation and PC

Steeped in the rich folk tales of Arabian Nights and set in a realistic recreation of Ancient Mesopotamia, Blood of Mehran has just been unsheathed on Xbox, PlayStation & PC.

Blood of Mehran, from developer Permanent Way Games and publisher Blowfish Studios, has launched today, 7th October 2025. This gripping new story is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC (Steam) for £20.99.

Prepare to follow the legendary warrior Mehran, who, after setting down his sword for a life of peace, is forced to take up his blade once more to fight for love, loss, and loyalty.

A Story of Love, Loss, and Loyalty

Blood of Mehran tells a story drawn directly from the evocative Arabian Nights folk tales. The legendary warrior, Mehran, had put down his sword in search of peace, hoping for a restful existence.

However, his quiet life is set ablaze by the cruel ambitions of others, leaving him no choice but to take up his blade once more to fight for what he holds dear.

Check out the epic adventure in the official launch trailer…

A Warrior’s Choice

This is a game built around rewarding hack and slash combat. You’ll need to fight your way through hordes of enemies, but you’ll have the freedom to choose your combat style. You can select from a variety of weapon combinations, including:

  • Sword and Shield: For a balanced approach.
  • Double Swords: For an aggressive, dual-wielding style.
  • Bow and Arrow: For those who prefer ranged combat.

Slip By Like a Ghost

If direct confrontation isn’t your style, you can also utilize intuitive stealth and cover mechanics to slip by like a ghost, avoiding combat altogether.

Your journey will take you through a realistic recreation of Ancient Mesopotamia, where you can gallop across rolling sand dunes and through bustling city streets. You’ll need to scour the world for collectibles and hidden secrets, all while levelling up and ascending through a skill tree to extend the legendary prowess of your hero.

Blood of Mehran offers an immersive journey inspired by Persian fantasy tales and the mystique of One Thousand and One Nights,” said Emad Rahmani, CEO and Game Director, Permanent Way Entertainment. “We’ve woven a fast-paced, action-packed adventure and we look forward to sharing just how far Mehran will go to claim his vengeance.

Your Warrior’s Inventory

Here’s what you can expect from this new action-adventure:

  • A Gripping Story: A tale of love, loss, and loyalty drawn from “Arabian Nights” folk tales.
  • Rewarding Hack and Slash Combat System: Choose from sword and shield, double swords, or bow and arrow.
  • Experiment with Stealth, Ranged, and Mounted Options.
  • Explore a World Full of Wonders and Collectibles: A realistic recreation of Ancient Mesopotamia.
  • Deep Progression: Level up and ascend through the skill tree to enhance your hero’s prowess.

The ambitions of others have set the world ablaze, and a legendary warrior is needed once more. If you’re a fan of hack and slash action-adventures with a deep story and a rich historical setting, Blood of Mehran is ready for your blade on the Xbox Store for Xbox Series X|S and other digital platforms right now, like the PlayStation Store and Steam.
