Halo: The Master Chief Collection is out right now and Phil Spencer wants you to think of it as a way of Microsoft saying thank you to the fans!
With more than 4300 midnight retail events taking place around the world, it’s fair to say that Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been a bit of a hit with fans and retailers alike, but Phil Spencer sees it a bit more as a thank you!
Speaking at the UK launch party held at Shoreditch Studios, Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer had the following to say “Halo has always been synonymous with Xbox, Halo: The Master Chief Collection’ allows us to thank our fans and celebrate with an amazing package that will introduce a new generation to the epic Halo universe.”
The event at Shoreditch saw four teams battle it out on Halo 2 in a Halo: The Master Chief Collection Anniversary Tournament streamed live on Twitch.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is available exclusively on Xbox One for £49.99 with the collection also including Halo: Nightfall, the live-action digital series from Ridley Scott, David Zucker and Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, as well as access to the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta, launching on December 29th.
